CGTN - The MATRIARCHS
A film we did with StoryScope for CGTN's Faces of Africa series.
In South Africa, grandmothers like Leanette Sithole from the Limpopo region are affectionately referred to as 'Gogos'. Despite some having the surname 'Ndlopfu' which means elephant in the local dialect many Gogos have never encountered these majestic creatures. Just like elephant matriarchs, Gogos embody wisdom & resilience.
